An olive tree that transcends time and a healing space of contemporary art
Main olive trees imported from Southern Italy and Spain, approximately 1,000 years old, and Blanco olive trees over 500 years old. These two olive trees warmly welcome visiting guests. These symbolic olive trees serve as symbols of history and healing, offering visitors a sense of peace. Additionally, at the building's entrance, a contemporary art installation created by architect and ceramic artist Yuki Nara features 331 ultra-thin carbon fiber composite (CFRP) rods. This work, blending the soft texture of the fibers with a bold design, offers a unique experience exclusive to KAJI FACTORY PARK. On clear days, an outdoor space allows you to enjoy coffee while gazing at the Tateyama mountain range, offering a moment where nature and art harmonize.
